Connecting your Alpha ESS system

Through our partner integration, you can connect your Alpha ESS devices directly to gain full control and a live overview of your measurement data in the monitoring dashboard.

Important for setup: You do not need the login credentials (email/password) for your online portal for the connection window. Authentication is performed exclusively using the physical device data of your system.

Where can I find the required data?

Both the serial number and the code are located on a single label directly on your hardware (inverter or battery storage) in your basement or utility room:

1. Serial number (SN): This is the unique serial number of your device. It is located directly above the barcode on the label (e.g., AL20023...) of your battery storage.
2. Verification code (Check Code): At the very bottom of the same label, you will find the field "Check Code" (e.g., AA6XXX). Enter this combination in the form under "Verification code".

Caution regarding code confusion: The requested "Verification code" is not the temporary confirmation code from an SMS or email! It is the permanent, fixed "Check Code" from your device's label.

💡 Note: On the physical label on the inverter, this field is labeled "Check Code".

Common onboarding errors

Character confusion: On printed nameplates, the number 0 often looks like the letter O, and the number 1 can easily be confused with the capital letter I. If the connection fails, check these characters on your label carefully.
